Support Andy’s Campaign

To be eligible to donate to Andy's campaign, you must be a resident of Ontario. Businesses, corporations, unions and organizations cannot make donations. Under Ontario's Municipal Elections Act, 1996, we are required to collect the name and address of all contributors to our campaign, and issue a donation receipt.

People choose to support municipal mayoral campaigns because they believe in a candidate's vision for the community and want to help make it a reality. Campaign contributions help cover the costs of connecting with residents, sharing ideas, attending community events, campaign materials and ensuring voters have the information they need to make an informed choice. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is an investment in the future of our community and a way to support local democratic participation.

Each individual can donate a maximum of $1,200.00. If multiple donations are made by a single individual, they must not exceed the $1,200.00 limit. Businesses, corporations, unions and organizations cannot donate. If a donation from any of these entities is received, it will be promptly returned.

Donations can be made by cash (up to $25.00), cheque, e-transfer or credit card.Our preferred method of donation is e-transfer, cheque or cash, as the campaign keeps 100% of the funds received. Any donations received via credit card are subject to processing fees (usually up to 3%).E-transfer donations can be made to: andy@griffinformayor.ca. Make sure to include your full name and address in the notes so a donation receipt can be issued.
